Life just a dream...

Dream is just a fantasy...

It will not stop raining here. I'm trying to make the most of it because I have trouble sitting at my desk when the weather is nice. However, I'm also without internet until Monday so I'm having to spend the day at a cafe - which would've made me suuupppperrr productive if I'd managed to leave the house before 3pm! Ugh...what I wouldn't give to be a morning person. I work so much better when it's dark out and after 9pm - it gets frustrating. Anyway, I digress. Here are some beauties for you!

The blue of this bedspread is just stunning. And I actually like it with the light blue bed frame and wallpaper.

I adore this kitchen. That wide plank island table is TDF - and the styling is lovely too with all the flowers.

More home office inspiration!

I've been unpacking and setting up my office gradually over the last couple of weeks and I've learned that it's just not the best way to be productive. It's hard for me to focus on my work when I know there is a box beside me of things waiting to be sorted. I might have to just take a day off and finish up my unpacking.

I've been at my parent's farm for a couple of weeks now. It has been very recuperative to say the least, though the quiet and lack of ...people..does get to me sometimes! Here's a glimpse of my days.

Working at home means I'm able to eat really well. My favorite breakfast is plain greek yogurt, low fat granola, almonds, blueberries, and a spoonful of raspberry jam. MMMM

After about 5 years and all 6 of us trying, I finally figured out how to get my parent's cappuccino machine to work! I have a lot of practicing to get the foam just right. The buddha likes!

My mom sells sunflowers by the stem at the farmers market, and whatever doesn't sell, we get to keep. I made this bouquet for her - my stab at flower arranging. Tips and tricks are welcome!

Pappy the clydesdale and I at the Maryland State Fair. I love the texture of his mane, and what a teddy bear!

This sweet baby cow was born just 2 hours before this photo was taken. I felt kinda bad for the little guy out on display and everything. That little nose!

A couple of weeks ago I was introduced to NY interior designer Marlaina Teich and Canadian design duo Corea Sotropa. Marlaina has been working on the Mansions and Millionaires Designer Showhouse in NY, and Corea Sotropa have been working in Calgary.
