Firstly, let me share with you this picture of a cute toilet bowl that I’ve took…
You must be wondering what is so cute about this toilet bowl…
…it is the smallest toilet bowl I ever used!
That small toilet bowl is found in Tampines Giant Hypermarket.
On the last New Year’s eve (31st of December 2010), my elder sister & my younger brother teamed up and cooked a nice New Year dinner feast for our family! And I guess it was probably the best home-cooked family feast I ever had!
You see, whenever one of my family members (be it my siblings or parents) decided to cook a feast for an occasion, the dishes would usually be ‘Chinese food’, for examples; chilli or black pepper crab, drunken prawns, steamed fish, sambal kang kong and etc… And so, I was expecting the same dishes for that New Year’s Eve dinner, but surprisingly, there was a change of menu.
It was western food this time.
It is considered quite a spread to me!
Australian Mussels with White Wine
Roasted chicken
Some of the dishes on that night’s menu were Pasta with Mushroom Sauce, Grilled Salmon, Baked Potatoes, and Grilled fish with Italian Sauce.
As far as I could remember, it was the first time we had a home-cook in Western-style! Therefore, I enjoyed that night’s feast as I am someone who much prefer Western food over Chinese food, unless it would to be those Chinese foods that are found in Seafood Restaurants.
Pictures of my son, Elvis Kim Zu Rui, in January 2011.

While waiting for his pool to be filled up,
Elvis did some stretching by himself first…

30 minutes later (Yes the baby pool took this long to be filled up!), Elvis begins his swimming lessons…

On first time we let Elvis tried this baby pool, when he was only 2 months old, he got frightened and cried loudly.
But now, almost close to 5 months old, he wasn’t that frighten anymore.
Alright, that’s all for the pictures of Elvis for now.
Oh! Before I sign out, I would like to share something funny...
That is a couple of days ago, Jessie & I were walking around NTUC’s Fair Price when I saw this…

Then I asked Jessie, “Do you know what type of balls are these?”
And this is what she answered me, “Of course I know lah! Don’t try to test me ok! They are golf balls!” (No, she wasn’t trying to be sarcastic.)
I immediately burst out laughing!
So are those really golf balls? Of course not!
Ok, they are golf balls indeed
