Found the above photo of myself, taken in February 2010! Then, my complexion was almost perfect, but shortly within 2 months after my wedding, my complexion turned very BAD, leaving me with pimple-scars on my face now... Sigh!
Anyway, for the latest update about myself, I've been eating ALOT of Edamame lately!
Edamame. Yummy!
Just in case you are wondering what is Edamame... They are actually immature soybeans, better known as Japanese Green Peas!
Each time I have dinner with my family in a Japanese restaurant, my parents will always order Edamame to eat, and I will be thinking... Gross!
But just 2 weeks ago, I was having dinner with my Dad in a Japanese Restaurant, and he was eating Edamame again. And so, I decided to finally give it a try...
This is my experience of eating Edamame for the first time; I squeezed the 'nut' out from a piece of Edamame and popped it into my mouth. It was crunchy but tasteless.
I told my Dad that it tasted tasteless, and he told me that I will have to eat a few more to 'feel' the taste.
And so I continued popping a couple more into my mouth... But it still tasted tasteless to me. Two pieces becomeS four... Then four pieces becomes eight... Until I finally finished up all the Edamame on the plate! (Hey... It kinda ryhmes!)
A few days later, I started craving for Edamame. I was eating with Jessie in a foodcourt. I was ordering a Saba Fish set from a Japanese Food Stall when I saw that they have Edamame, and I quickly ordered a plate of it to go with my Saba Fish set!
Last Monday, I started craving for Edamame again! I was eating with Jessie in Yoshinoya when I saw that they have Edamame and I tried ordering it, but unfortunately, it was unavailable.
I was still craving for Edamame, so after we finished our meals in Yoshinoya, I told Jessie that I wanted search around Tampines Central for Edamame!
After a few disappointing search for Edamame, I finally found a Japanese Food stall that sell Edamame! It was the Japanese Food stall in Century Square's Food Culture!
While I was slowly enjoying the Edamame that I bought from the Japanese Food stall, Jessie told me why not I go NTUC Fairprice to buy a packet home and cook myself? Good Idea!!
So, on that evening, I bought 2 packets of frozen Edamame from NTUC Fairprice, each pack weighing 500 grams. Upon reaching home, I cooked one packet and finished it up within that night!
The next day, I cooked the other packet and also finished up within that day!
Yesterday, I just bought another 2 packets from NTUC Fairprice, and right now, I have already finished up the 2 packets!!
I think I am addicted to Edamame. Within 3 days I have consumed a total of 2KGS of Edamame!! It is really a very yummy snack!
A very small portion that I've cooked; I know it doesn't look very appetizing...
There is another thing I'd like to say, and it is regarding Jessie's mobile phone.
When Jessie was deciding to get a new phone, I've already told her NOT to get the Sony Ericsson Xperia 10, although it was the phone that she have always wanted to have.
For her to sign up a new line and still having the need to pay $300+ for the phone isn't worth it. I've told her to get another phone like iPhone, Blackberry, Samsung Galaxy, or even Nokia's N97! But she just wouldn't listen to my good judgement. She preferred a beauty-over-performance phone.
Her Xperia 10 now lies on her bed as a messily unorganised smartphone.
Usually, I will be patience and even glad to help her organise her new phone like how I always did mine if she asked me for help. And yes, she did asked me for help on organising her X10, but it was so user-unfriendly, I gave up within 30 minutes!
Last night I went into this Sony Ericsson Blog and read the users' comments about X10. There were almost 50 comments from 50 different users, and every single one was a negative comment!!
Mostly complained about the very slow update of Andriod firmware; saying that other brands of Andriod phones were already using the latest Andriod 2.2 but X10 is still far behind on the Andriod 1.6 firmware.
Also, users complained about the laggy performace, camera with no flash, user-unfriendly, poor interface, and only 65K color display whereby other smartphones commonly have 1.5 million color display.
And so, Jessie's decision of getting a beauty-over-performace phone should be quite a disappointment to her. As of now, she told me that she will prefer an iPhone 4...
Captivity of your own Negativity!
Alright! The next thing I want to say is that more than a week ago, I had this very brutally sinful dream, I dreamed that I was some kind of psycho serial killer!
In my dream, I sneaked into a two-storey bungalow with another accomplice, I don't think I know this accomplice in real-life. Our purpose is just to murder the people living inside!
Sneaky...
Like I've said, it was psychotic, I really do not know what was the motive of breaking into the bungalow and killing the people inside!
The weapons each of us were carrying, was a huge fruit knife, similiar to the above picture.
My accomplice took the second storey while I took the first storey.
In the end, the entire family of 6 was murdered by us! I remembered that I repeatedly stabbed a man in his stomach until he fell dead to the ground! Omg...
Also, the family has 2 dogs, which tried to attack us when we were about to leave the house. The dogs were chubby little bulldogs...
My accomplice handles one of the dogs while I handle the another one. I clearly remembered that I managed to tightly grab hold of the dog's body under my arm, and with the dog unable to move, I slitted the dog's neck with my fruit knife... A dozen seconds later, the dog hung motionlessly under my arm. Omg... I'm sick!
I couldn't remember the rest of the dream. I think that shortly after killing the dog, I woke up.
It was really a psychotic dream! So sinful! I wondered why the hell did I dreamt of myself being a psycho killer??! Is that really myself in the dream?? I hope not!
Longest online game!
Last week I downloaded an app into my iPhone called 'Words with Friends'.
This 'Words with Friends' game, is very similar to the popular board game, Scrabble. Actually, it is exactly like Scrabble! LOL.
I never bothered to play the game after downloading it, until one evening, I decided to try the game.
This game is an online multi-player game. There is no 'Single player' or 'VS computer' mode.
You can only play the game by creating a room and invite one of your friends who also have the game; wait for an random online player to enter; or let the app randomly search an online opponent for you, and that is what I did. I let the app randomly search an online opponent for me, and what happened next, would be the longest single game session I ever played...
I started playing with this opponent with the nick of 'Abrams12'...
Our game started at 10.45 PM
Just shortly into the game, I started feeling nervous that 'Abrams12' might be a better player than me. So I tried to get some informations off him by asking him how old is he and where is he from.
20 minutes later, he replied saying that he is from Texas, USA, and he is 33 years old. Then I was like thinking... Ai yah! I sure lose one. He is 33 years old, and somemore from USA!
We started at 10.45PM... But look at the time now!
It took us like almost one hour for each turn!
3 hours later...

*
*
*

It's 3.15 AM!!
It was an ultimately slow game of wits...
13 hours later... Yes! 13 hours!!

*
Zzz... 7 hours later...

The following morning...

*
*
*
4 hours later... ZZZZZ...
*

*
*
*
*
*
*
Close to 5 hours later...
This game is like taking forever to finish!!
*

*
*
*

Another 3 hours later...
*
*
*
*
*
*
*

And finally, 15 minutes later after I placed that last tile...

'Abrams12' resigned the game to me!!
Woah! I can't believe I've just simply played the longest single game session ever in my life!
Imagine, 39 hours for a single session of 'Scrabble', to be exact, 'Words with Friends'!! Throughout that game session, I've ate breakfast, lunch and dinner; I've taken showers; I've went out for leisure, and I've slept.
It is truly an ultimate slow game that I've played.
Last thing to share before I sign off; just a random picture I took last week...
...A picture of a dead rat I saw at my block downstairs while I was having a smoke!
Poor mouse...
This poor rat must have been attacked by some cats.
CSI:SPCA?
