Happy New Year 2011

kimjunhong.blogspot.com

Omg... It has been sooo long since I last blogged! The last time I blogged was like last year! And the last time I ever slept was last year too! *Haha* Get it?

Alright, I know I'm lame. Anyway, I spent the last 5 minutes of the year 2010 cooking Edamame...

Ok, now let's get serious.

The reason for the slow update of my blog was not because there isn't anything for me to update. It was because I was quite sad over the recent passing of my brother's dearest friend, Gary, therefore I didn't really had the mood to blog.

Having occasionally inviting Gary to our family dinner together, he was considered quite close to my entire family, but regrettably, he was the least closest to me.

I regretted not having more conversation with him like I should. It's all too late now. Once again, rest in peace Gary.

Now let me just update with the last few days of 2010...

11th of December 2010 was Jessie's 21st Birthday!

We had a small celebration of course, held at her mother's house. Jessie invited a few of her friends and relatives to her birthday celebration. There were cooked food, steamboat, and BBQ!

Below, plenty of photos taken on that day...

Oh yah, I got to say a BIG thank you to Joshua for his help on the BBQ food. Seriously, 90% of the BBQ food - despite whoever is going to eat - was cooked by him!
Joshua was very helpful and also a great BBQ-er... LOL.

That afternoon, after everyone has arrived, we started preparing her birthday cake. When we took out the cake, it stole everyone's attention for the next 30 mins.

It was a sweet looking cake that cost $150 plus!! The most expensive BIRTHDAY CAKE I ever ate!!

Just more than one week after Jessie's birthday, 23rd December, would be Aloysius, her brother's birthday.

For Aloysius's birthday, we had a simple dinner in Tampines Mall's Pizza Hut, and Pizza Hut has always been Aloysius's favorite.

Then on Christmas Eve, I went to my Grand-Parent's house for a christmas dinner cum celebration, but that night I was quite sad because I didn't recieve a single present!
Just joking!

Er... I was joking about the 'sad' part, but I wasn't joking about the 'presents' part!

Then on last Sunday, together with my family, we went Orchard Road and I also brought my son for a hair shave. He is already
4 months old!

I took some pictures of my son, Elvis Kim, the day before I brought him for a hair shave...

That night we had our dinner in ION's Watami, a Japanese restaurant, and I got to say dining in this restaurant is quite pricey...

There is this 'Beef Cube Steak' which I ordered cost $10.90, but it comes with only 5 small cubes of beef steak, each around the size of a 20 cent coin!

Well, price is slightly too high, service is not too good too, but the food really tastes marvelous!! Because of the good tasting food, you will definitely be attracted to come back again.

Ok, I think I should end this post soon.

Just a couple more pictures to share...

I gave Jessie a '$10 ring'...
