Sian... I am going back to my reservist (better known now as ICT - In-Camp-Training) this Monday! For 2 weeks!
I've already prepared myself for this ICT by cutting my hair short! Seriously, I've never cut this short for the past 2 years...
For the past 2 years, I haven really been going for my ICTs as I somehow managed to defer them, and so as for Monday's ICT, I really shouldn't be deferring anymore.
Damn... Just thinking of it makes me down. I believe just on the first night of my ICT, all my 'army-days' memories will come flooding back. Not to mention the much hatred 'out-field' that every combatant despises! Yeah, there will at least have a 3-days-outfield during my 2 weeks ICT!!
WTH! I don't even have to wait till the first night of my ICT for my 'amry-days' memories to come back! Just thinking of it now already brought it back! The distinctive smell of the forest moisture... And the strong atmosphere of home-sickness in the air... It makes you feel very lonely.
Sian. What to do?? This is Singapore...
Recently, 2 weeks ago, my brother got enlisted into his 'Basic Military Trainings' at Pulau Tekong. I wonder how is he now? Though different camps, different vocations and different PES status. But still, I wonder does he share the same emotional feelings as me when I initially got enlisted? So far, by calling home almost every evening to tell us how and about was his 'new lifestyle', it actually seemed pretty good compared to mine.
My 2 weeks ICT. Just get over it and done.
I'm sure gonna miss my family so much, especially my son.
